My Canon Production Diary (Canon)

So for my product I went out and took a bunch of images which I then used to make my poster. I took these images using my phone (Samsung Galaxy S20 FE) and I took them in two different locations.

This first one I took was a picture of the outside part of the college campus I took this photo around about mid day. I thought a picture of a college campus would appeal to my young youthful audience. I took this picture using my hands and so I didn't any tripods or any other professional equipment. I think this picture is good because it is nice and clear and it suits the target audience I am going for.

This next picture I took was of my back garden more notably my door step. Just like the first one I used my hands and phone to take this picture because I really had to back myself into a corner to capture this angle so I didn't have any room for my tripod. I thought a picture of my doorstep would be good because I want to blend the doorstep in with the campus to create a bit of a portal effect with the images. I think this picture is good because it doesn't have anyone in the background disrupting the flow of the image and it suits what I'm going for.

As a whole I'd say that this helped develop my photography skills and taught me how to take pictures from angles I've never took them from before. The photos I have took have made me acknowledge the science behind photography and how it directly impacts the quality and outcome of my project.

Unfortunately I couldn't take a picture of a person walking so I have to change my design a bit. But other than that my photography went well and I did it with time to spare.
